Crimond or The Lord's My Shepherd is a simple and elegant hymn that is commonly sung in church. This short arrangement opens with a solo brass quartet then builds and develops this beautiful melody into a colourful mosaic of sound and timbre. Melody is passed from section to section adding interesting rhythmic variations which leads to a large and dramatic ending, with dissonance in the lower voices, resolving to a powerful major chord.
