With a real western, horse galloping feel, this exciting original work explodes out of the gate with great melodies, colorful percussion and fun parts for all. The cowboy type feel is contrasted by a haunting lyrical section inspired by monk chants. The piece closes as it began with a thrilling ride to the finish line. Into the Hills was commissioned by Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School to mark the celebration of its twentieth anniversary.
