This 5 minute work is an ideal concert or contest selection. After a slow opening, a driving rhythmic pulse takes over with the colors of the band being shown off with contrasting scoring. This piece is an adaptation of his Introduction, Elegy and Caprice which was commissioned as the test piece for the first European Brass Band Championships in 1978.
