This version is positive throughout and was inspired by a picture taken aboard a cruise ship of a beautiful sunset over the ocean. This work opens with meandering triplets in the flugel horn and euphonium before the hymn tune is played by building to a trumpet trio. It grows to a strong forte verse before fading away to a quiet and peaceful resolution.
