An arrangement of 18 titles from Bizet's world-famous opera Carmen for narrator, 4 vocal soloists (Micaela - soprano, Carmen - mozzo soprano, Don José - tenor, Escamillo - baritone), mixed choir and children's choir set up for a performance of 2x approx. 45 minutes has been. By using a narrator between and sometimes during the pieces of music, the progress of the action can be explained to the audience in both a concert and a scenic performance. All numbers can of course also be performed separately.
Instrumentation: A performance without oboes, cor anglais and bassoons is possible by using cue notes. Double bass clarinet, bass saxophone, and violoncello are optional.
