An arrangement of Wagner's Lohengrin for speaker, 3 vocal soloists and mixed choir, which was set up for a performance of approx. 105 minutes (with a break). The progress of the action is explained to the audience through the use of a narrator.
Instrumentation: A performance without a choir is possible, as all choir parts have been included into the orchestra as support. Alto and double bass clarinet, bass saxophone and violoncello are optional. In addition, 10 trumpets are required (4 king trumpets and 6 trumpets for the tower scene and the end in act 2 and the arrival of the king in act 3), some of which can also be taken over by the cornets and orchestral trumpets.
