Challenging Jazz Duets - Volume 4 is a set of 5 jazz duets for players of multiple combinations of instruments. The purpose of these duets is to provide players challenging jazz duets based on the chord changes to standard jazz tunes. The titles of these duets are an obvious allusion to the titles of the standard jazz tunes: 1) “On the Shady Side of the Lane” (On the Sunny Side Of the Street), 2) “The Gift of Bossa Nova” (The Gift!/Recado Bossa Nova), 3) “There Will Never Be Anyone Like You” (There Will Never Be Another You), 4) “The Saints Go Strollin’ Through” (When the Saints Go Marching In), 5) “Hot Goose Time” (Cold Duck Time).
